in a world the orange sun resets
in a world the orange sun resets
The faces of children
encourage deeds
of innocence
A pleasant meadow
where sleeping maids lay
one cousin awakes
your suggestion, “I know a motel,”
coming to my room instead, prone amid sheets
Now you are happy, and you are more than happy.
You swan of Lancaster.

the cats are waiting for supper, one of them pregnant

Crows fill the tree, get up
one by one, heavy, together
Either in or out of
the mind, a conception
overrides it. So that
