Poem of the Day
Yellow Striped Pajamas
By Shamsher Bahadur Singh
walking silently on his paws, he emerges from the semidarkness and disappears into it.
walking silently on his paws, he emerges from the semidarkness and disappears into it.
How quickly How thick Midlife pools.
Frankenstein, an early adopter, fidgets by firelight
cotton sweaters with the American flag, Oxford shirts, and riding boots.
gul any flower gul a candle’s tongue
I’m frightened. You too?
Anyone can see I am walking in a circle.
My nerves are trained Millions of years have gone by And I am not afraid of anything
And the stitches on his head told us He suffered sitting still
Words were pure forms And were not secure
